- In 1845 Elizabeth inherited an equal portion of father's estate real and personal. [PG WB PC:282; MSA CR34,682]
- Elizabeth A. Selby (23) married Joseph T. Clark (28) on April 6, 1857 in PG. [Maryland Marriages]
- The 1860 Federal Census for Nottingham District lists Joseph (31) and his wife Elizabeth (26) with one child, Joseph P. (3). Notably, they are living in the household of Elizabeth's mother, Martha J. Selby (55), with Martha's sons Jesse and James.
- Joseph's will was probated February 17, 1869. [0804]
- February 26, 1869 E. A. Clark requests that M. Randolf Latimer
be appointed by the Orphans Court to administer her late husband's
